Who we are
Novalogisticsshop Pty Ltd trades as Novalogisticsshop and runs this website from 106-110 Creswick Road, Ballarat Central VIC 3350, Australia. We source rare automotive parts and industrial machine components from overseas manufacturers and arrange express delivery to customers around Australia. If you have a question about anything written here, write to novalogisticsshop@gmail.com or call +61 3 8427 5196 during business hours.
What we collect
We ask for the details a sourcing job or a delivery actually needs, nothing more.
- Contact details: your name, email address, phone number and the address the courier will use.
- Order details: part numbers, VIN or machine serial numbers, photographs of the component you are replacing, and any supplier you have already tried.
- Payment records: the amount charged, the date and the bank or card reference. Full card numbers stay with the payment provider and never sit on our servers.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages you viewed and the device you used, gathered through cookies as set out in our cookie policy.
Why we use it
We use your data to confirm that a part fits your vehicle or machine, to place the factory order, to lodge customs entries, to arrange freight and to answer questions you send us. We also use it to keep the accounting records that Australian tax law requires us to hold.
We send occasional emails about new sourcing routes and stock that has landed. You can opt out from any of them using the unsubscribe link, and opting out never affects an order that is already running.
Who we share it with
Sharing is limited to the people who need the information to move your part.
- Overseas manufacturers and authorised distributors, so they can confirm stock and release the component.
- Freight forwarders, airlines and last-mile couriers carrying the consignment.
- Our customs broker, who files the import entry in your name or ours.
- Accountants and auditors, where records are reviewed.
- Government agencies such as the Australian Border Force, when a lawful request is made.
We do not sell personal data and we do not pass it to advertising networks.
Overseas transfers and retention
Sourcing a part usually means sharing the minimum order details with a factory in Japan, Germany or the United Kingdom. Those transfers carry the same protections described here, and we keep the exchange to order information rather than general personal data.
Quote and order records are kept for seven years to meet tax and customs obligations. Enquiry emails that never became an order are deleted after 24 months. Cookie data expires on the schedule listed in the cookie policy.
Your rights and how to use them
You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct something that is wrong, or ask us to delete records that we are not legally required to keep. Send the request from the email address used on the order so we can match it to the file.
We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can raise the matter with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au. Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies to you, the same contact address handles access, erasure and portability requests.
